Live iphone musical performance This is something interesting to see. The girls have created a band on their iphones and ipod touches. Some of the apps are: mini synth, ocarina, retro, and drums.
You can view songs from last year’s musical by going to You-Tube. Once there you should type the words:

All students in grades pre-k through grade 3 will have fun playing the music games from a new PBS show called “Lomax the Hound of Music”
How to Play:
1) go to Google
2) type the words Lomax the Hound of Music
3) Listen to the songs- Which ones do you know from music class?
4) Play the games- you will learn a lot about music
A note to parents:
The games and tv show are based on actual age appropriate musical concepts by the renowned music educator John Feierabend.
All third, fourth, and fifth graders can practice their recorders online! Just follow these few simple steps. Many of the songs that are played in music class are here.

2) Click on the words “Site Features” and select “recorder karate dojo”
3) Click on the words “streaming audio”
4) Type the username: karate
5) Type the password: rubric
